GIACALO
Nicola Giacalone è un cantautore, chitarrista. Nato a Mazara del Vallo il 28 febbraio 1979. Si appassiona alla musica in giovane età imparando a suonare una tastiera elettronica e cantando i successi dei più grandi cantautori italiani. Nel 2000 si trasferisce a Bologna dove inizia a cantare con varie band e imparando a suonare la chitarra. Nel 2020 scrive il suo primo brano "Andrà tutto bene". Da li seguirono "Nina" e "Adesso che..." Nel 2021 compone "Palloncino" , un omaggio a Denise Pipitone, la bambina scomparsa a Mazara del Vallo nel 2004. Insieme a Gennaro di Bonito (autore del testo), produce la canzone. Il brano riceve notevoli apprezzamenti pubblici, tra cui quelli di Piera Maggio mamma di Denise. Sempre nel 2021 si trasferisce all' Isola d' Elba e pubblica il suo primo album "Adesso che..." la voglia di fare musica non si placa e nel 2022 esce il suo nuovo singolo "Dentro te", seguito da "Quante canzoni", brani che precedono il suo prossimo album.
